We support students with disabilities and diverse learning needs from early childhood (Pre-K) through high school. For post-secondary needs, we can also provide general information and guidance regarding supports and accommodations available under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Yes. Initial consultations are held virtually for convenience and ease of scheduling. After that, we offer in person and virtual meeting options based on family preference and/or school scheduling.

It’s completely okay if you’re not sure exactly what your child needs. Recognizing that something may not be working and seeking guidance is an important first step. We work with families to better understand their child’s strengths and areas of need, helping to identify appropriate supports and clear, actionable steps to move forward with confidence. It is important to us, to equip parents with knowledge and resources in order to better understand the available services, accommodations, and supports to best meet their child’s educational needs.

A formal diagnosis is not required to begin getting support for your child. We help families understand how students can access services and support within the school setting, ensuring your child is set up to successfully learn and participate in their educational environment.

During the initial consultation, we will discuss the different levels of support (Intervention Team-MTSS, 504 Plans, & IEPs) that are available to children in schools and what may be appropriate for your child.

Yes, we support families transitioning into the public school system from a variety of alternative educational settings. To ensure adequate time for planning and support, we recommend reaching out several months before your child’s anticipated start date.

Yes, we can assist families on how to initiate a request for initial and/or reevaluation for special education services as it relates to the NC Disabilities Grant. We highly recommend you begin the process to obtain our services no later than October 15th, however, if it is after that date please feel free to still reach out.

At this time, our advocacy services are not covered by insurance, as we are a private-pay service.
